Overview
A Return Order is created to manage the return of items by a consumer or retailer. It serves as a specific record for the set of items being returned and is fundamentally linked to the original Sales Order from which the items were purchased. The Return Order's ID is pivotal, as it serves as the primary identifier for tracking the return process.
Each Return Order explicitly references the Sales Order it originates from, ensuring traceability and linkage between the sold items and their returns.
Lifecycle
The lifecycle of the Return Order entity is focused on the initiation of returns. This lifecycle concludes once the "first mile" shipment, which represents the initial phase of the return process, is created.
