Sync sales orders to ReBound

Summary

Our Shopify integration syncs orders from your Shopify stores to your ReBound account, enabling your customers to return them.

New orders are synced in real-time as they get fulfilled.

A historical sync is ran once when our app is installed to sync existing orders.

How it works

Real-time order sync

  1. When the app is installed in your store, it subscribes to Shopify webhooks (i.e., back-end notifications from Shopify when orders are fulfilled in your store).
  2. When an order gets fulfilled or partially fulfilled (i.e., whenever a fulfillment in your order is completed), the app receives a notification and syncs the data to ReBound.
    1. If the order is new (first fulfillment), it's created in ReBound with the fulfilled items.
    2. If the order was already synced, it's updated with the newly fulfilled items.
  3. The integration automatically retrieves the full customer and product information and syncs it to ReBound.

Historical order sync

When you install the app for the first time, it automatically syncs the last 60 days of orders from Shopify to ReBound. Learn more about this.

Why it's useful for you

  1. Automation: Significantly reduces analysis and development time.
  2. Seamless returns: Empowers your customers to use our self-service returns portal.
  3. Customer experience: Enhances the end customer experience by providing accurate and up-to-date order information in our returns portal.
  4. Scalability: Easily supports high order volumes and multi-store setups.

Setting it up

  • The real-time sync is automatically enabled once you complete the app installation🔗. It can be further configured from the "Integration settings" page.
